Just prior to the start of the fall 2024 semester, we look forward to meeting you at our International Student Onboarding taking place over the course of three days from Thursday, August 29^th to Saturday, August 31^st.  During the first two weeks of the semester, you are also invited to come to the Personalized Welcome on campus. You can find all the details and the schedule on our website.

At the start of the winter 2025 semester, we will be holding a welcome session for all new international students. Stay tuned for dates! 

TRAVEL TO SHERBROOKE 

Fall 2024
For students participating in International Student Onboarding
On Wednesday, August 28^th, in order to facilitate the arrival of students who will be participating in the 3-day International Student Onboarding, Bishop’s International is organizing bus transportation from the Montreal-Trudeau airport to campus. Two buses are planned, one leaving at 1 PM and the other leaving at 9 PM. Check your emails for information. Places are limited and will be attributed on a first come, first served basis. 

Aéronavette/Aeroshuttle
(Directly from Montreal’s Trudeau airport to the city of Sherbrooke, a 2-hour drive) The Aeroshuttle provides customized transportation from the airport to campus and various key points around Sherbrooke. Visit the Aéronavette website for pricing and reservations.

Bus
From the “Gare d’autocars de Montréal” bus terminal at 1717 Berri, and the Berri/UQAM Metro (subway) station in downtown Montréal, you can take a Limocar bus to Sherbrooke (approx. 2 hours). Information in Montreal:

From the Limocar bus station in downtown Sherbrooke you can take a taxi with your luggage to Bishop’s University or to the location of your off-campus housing, or a hotel.

A Sherbrooke city bus (Number 2), next to the Limocar bus station, comes to Bishop’s campus. The bus costs $3.75 CDN (pay exact fare – we use $2 and $1 dollar coins and 25¢). The buses leave downtown Sherbrooke every 30 minutes until 11:30 pm.
