Where and when is the Accueil Plus service available?

If I arrive in Montreal before December 26th 2021 or after January 14th, 2022, can I register to this service? Can I benefit from the reception service

Unfortunately, if you arrive before or after this period, you will not be able to register for the Accueil Plus program or benefit from the reception services at the airport. This will have no impact on your migration process, which will be carried out according to the usual procedures. I arrived at the Jean-Lesage International Airport in Quebec. Are the reception services also available there?

Unfortunately, if you arrive at an airport other than Montréal-Trudeau, you cannot register for the Accueil Plus program or benefit from the reception services. Who can register?

I am enrolled in a study program for 6 months or less and I do not hold a Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) or a study permit number (F number). Can I register for the service?
  • Students enrolled in a study program for 6 months or less are not required to have a CAQ or to provide the study permit number (F number) in order to register to the Accueil Plus program.
  • The simplified route offered during the migration process at the CBSA does not apply to you.

I am a student from the United States and do not have a Canadian study permit number. Can I register for the services?

If you enter Canada at the Montréal-Trudeau International Airport, you can register for the Accueil Plus program and benefit from the booth reception services available at the airport and / or online by checking the third option on the homepage of the registration form. However, your migration process will proceed according to the usual procedures and cannot be accelerated.

How to register?

I cannot access the Accueil Plus service form. How can I access it?
  • The registration form for the Accueil Plus program is accessible via the homepage of the Accueil Plus website by pressing the Registration button. You will also find it in the Registration tab in the menu at the top right corner of the website.
  • To begin your registration for the Accueil Plus services, you must select the student category that corresponds to your profile and also verify the authorization in order to transfer your information.
I have not yet received my CAQ, can I register for the Accueil Plus service?

No. To be able to register for the Accueil Plus services, you must have your CAQ and your F number (written on the document sent to you by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada). We strongly advise that you register for the service as soon as you have your CAQ and your Canadian study permit number (F number).

I have not yet received the letter from the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office with the study permit number (F number). Can I register for the Accueil Plus services?

No. To be able to register for the Accueil Plus services, you must have the letter from the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office (on which you will find the F number). We strongly advise that you sign up for the services as soon as you have your letter.

The form does not accept the CAQ number that I submited. What can I do?

The study permit number can be found on your letter of acceptance issued by the visa office of the Canadian Embassy. Please verify that you have entered the correct number.

I have already registered for the Accueil Plus service but I have changed my flight schedule (date, time, company). What can I do?

If you have changed your flight plan, you must register AGAIN for the Accueil Plus services. The system will retain the most recent registration and will send you a new confirmation email for the latest registration.

I received an email informing me that my flight data is incorrect. What should I do?

If you have received this email, please review your flight information and register AGAIN for the Welcome Plus services. Verify that you have entered the information regarding your arrival at the Montreal-Trudeau International Airport. If you do not register again, you will not be able to benefit from the advantages related to the services offered. However, this will not affect your migratory process, which will take place according to the usual procedures.

I cannot register for the Accueil Plus service.

Please review your information and try to register AGAIN to the Accueil Plus program. If you do not register for the Accueil Plus services, you will not be able to take advantage of any of the benefits associated to this program. However, this will not affect your migratory process, which will take place according to the usual procedures.

Where is the reception booth located?

The reception booth will be located in the restricted area and also in the arrivals hall for international flights near door 28. They will be open between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. from December 26th, 2021 to January 14th, 2022.

The recpetion booth in the restricted area will be located after the primaryinspection of the Border Control.

Is a personalized transportation service offered to international students?

No. Each student is responsible for their transportation from the airport to their accommodation or to their educational institution. You can board the 747 bus “Aéroport-P-E-Trudeau / Center-ville”, which connects the Montreal-Trudeau Internationaal Airport and downtown Montreal, or take a taxi.

What services are offered in the reception booth at the Montréal-Trudeau Airport?
